Being CEO means more than just being the top boss. In fact, as Truth Collective CEO Bob Bailey puts it in his piece for Campaign US, that’s the wrong way of looking at it. He suggests we flip the traditional organizational chart on its head and think of the CEO as the “Chief Everyone Officer,” reporting to everyone in the organization instead of the other way around. This helps create a more equitable space where every employee feels valued and free to contribute new ideas. When thinking about how you can redefine corporate structure to create a more inclusive and inventive environment, here are some key points to remember:
